Total Containment Steel Bullet Traps:
It is the most advanced, most effective, and safest bullet collection and disposal system
available. Every component exposed to potential impact is made of the finest
through-hardened steel with a Brinell hardness rating of at least 500, and the entire trap is
sandblasted and prepared to comply with strict "SP6" painting specifications for superior
durability in harsh climates. The TCT can be used safely with handguns, shotguns (including
slugs), rifles like .223 and .308, and even 50 caliber rounds. Tracers and other incendiary
rounds can also be used regularly with no problem, as can all types of frangible and lead-free
ammunition.

ricochet, and lead dust build up. It protects the environment by collecting lead fragments into
seal able containers, by vacuuming and filtering lead dust, and by not incorporating potentially

never compromised by lead and other air-borne toxins found in improperly ventilated ranges.

systems, Carey's Heating and Cooling. Cary's Range Ventilation design is accepted as the
standard for all Naval Indoor Firing Ranges. Until recently, most indoor ranges have operated
without the benefits of existing environmental technologies, resulting in serious health
concerns from the contaminants of live fire exercises (lead, sulfur dioxide, and carbon
monoxide). Without adequate ventilation, these contaminants can pose serious health threats.
